Most problem behavior can be avoided by effective handling and puppy rearing. All classes cover effective praise and correction, reading your dog's body language, how we give mixed signals, and building a relationship of trust and respect. And yes sometimes a correction is needed. Sometimes you must say "No" that is not acceptable behavior. Love is not enough in raising a well-mannered dog. A balance of love and discipline is part of being a responsible dog owner and owning a K-9 good citizen. We accept dogs with problem behavior on our field. This includes dog or handler aggression. We will give you an honest assessment of your dog and in most cases bring you and your dog to place where you have a better understanding of each other and show you how to take control of unwanted behavior. No e-collars are permitted on our field.
