Maika's full brother, Red, at approximately 4 months of age. Red is from Mutig's previous litter (September 2002). Red is the dog I currently handle in weekly training classes to prepare me for handling Maika.

Red, at approximately 6 months of age. He looks a bit thin because in this photo he is inhaling. He's actually a great lean working weight.

One of my absolute favourite photos of Red, again at approximately 6 months of age. This is a fabulous head shot if I may say so myself, and shows the beautiful richness of his markings I hope will develop on Maika as she gets older.

This is Red at approximately 8 months. You can see that he is growing into a stunning young dog. Though technically at an age where he could be ready for the street, he's still my little puppy. :)

I don't know quite what it is I like so much about this photo, but I think it's a nice chot of Red... He's about 8 months here.

A great head-on shot of Red at 8 months of age. I think this photo makes him look a little "wild" like he is stalking you, perhaps, but that is just my humble opinion. :)

Red again at about 8 months. This is another one of those shots that shows his markings. It also shows the wide skull I've come to appreciate in malinois of his lineage as opposed to those seen in the AKC/CKC conformation ring today.
