Maika's Family and Friends

HOME INTRO PHOTOS TRAINING E-MAIL

Maika's full brother, Max, at approximately 8 months of age. Max, formerly called Blue, was purchased by a lovely couple from the United States. He's remained back at the facility for training before he goes home with them. Max is the largest in Mutig's September 2002 litter (6 males and 1 female) and also the lightest in colouration.
Another photo of Maika's full brother, Max, at approximately 8 months of age. Here you can see that he hasn't quite got a black nose, but rather a brown one, which I think is pretty neat.
Another photo of Maika's full brother, Max, at approximately 8 months of age. I actually liked this photo so much I had an 8"x10" made to hang on my wall in my bedroom.
Here is a photo of Max sitting with two of Mike and Petra's young daughters. And who ever said a working-bred malinois can't be trusted around children?! This photo is the property of Mike and Petra McConnery and the Dogmen Inc.
Here is a young (2 month old?) Red and littermate, Jake, socializing with Mike and Petra's children. Like Max, Red and Jake are from Mutig's September 2002 litter, and are full brothers to Maika. This photo is the property of Mike and Petra McConnery and the Dogmen Inc.
Scout is another one of the pups in Mutig's September litter, and is also a full brother to Maika. Here is Scout with Jake. You can see a little bit of their mother (also Maika's mother) Mutig, to the right of the photograph. This photo is the property of Mike and Petra McConnery and the Dogmen Inc.
Mutig is Maika's dam, and also the dam of Max, Red, Scout, and Jake (as well as 3 other puppies) in the September 2002 litter. This photo is the property of Mike and Petra McConnery and the Dogmen Inc.
Another photo of Mutig, Maika's dam. This photo is the property of Mike and Petra McConnery and the Dogmen Inc.
Here is Magnum, the sire of both the September 2002 litter and Maika's litter. This photo doesn't do the rich redness of his coat justice either, a trait which he seems to have passed on to Maika's litter. Magnum is the ideal malinois, stable and perfectly trustworthy around family and friends, while being an exceptional protector when the need arises. This photo is the property of Mike and Petra McConnery and the Dogmen Inc.
Banshee is Mutig's dam (and so Maika's grandmother) pictured here with what I believe is Mutig's litter. This photo is the property of Mike and Petra McConnery and the Dogmen Inc.
Maika doesn't know it yet, but she's going to have to learn to get along with Zeus, my boyfriend's almost-5-year-old male Doberman Pinscher.
Another photo of Zeus, taken in the back yard. I really love this shot, I think because Zeus looks so happy. Why shouldn't he be though? He'd just spent half an hour playing back yard games with his owner, Shaune.
